Wild Earth Gardens offers several options of maintenance care to cater to your particular needs.   We offer weekly, biweekly and monthly visits.  The frequency will depend on the scale of the garden and plantings, the specific needs of the plantings on site and weed control issues.  We are happy to determine and recommend an appropriate schedule for your gardens.

Kirsten and/or Bryan will head up the project, being on site to direct the care of the gardens.  An initial meeting is recommended to set the goals and priorities for the homeowner. We will do a site visit with a thorough walk through of all the outdoor spaces to discover the state of the gardens and the needs for the season. 

One primary goal is to ultimately reduce labor costs through the cumulative efforts of a diverse management program.  This may include manual labor, changing design elements, mechanical, organic, biotic and chemical methods. 

While we prefer organic gardening methods and employ these ninety percent of the time, we realize that an integrated program of  management may be the best solution.  We will discuss all options and choose what works best for you,  your family and lifestyle.

Another goal is is to keep your gardens looking their best throughout the season and to reflect your personal tastes.  If you prefer a wild look, a natural yet contained look or rather, a manicured look, we will garden to that aesthetic.

We employ various pruning methods and trimming schedules in order to maintain plant size, health and character, and to enhance and prolong the bloom time in your garden.   

Plants do have lifespans, so your garden will need minor to major renovations over the years.  We will look to see what, if anything, needs renovating, make recommendations, and do the planning and planting.

We offer the full range of professional irrigation services from installations, renovations, troubleshooting and repairs.  It is most efficient to contract this service with us since we are on sight frequently.  Adjusting the frequency and duration of your system in a timely manner is crucial to plant health and water conservation.  Leaks and broken parts are found and fixed immediately.  We will start up and close down your system yearly.
